Well. Hello. STA just asked what activity category this was. Unfortunately, bludging at work isn't an option so instead I picked safari, in that that is what I would like to be doing instead. As you can guess I'm slightly bored and I am actually very close to falling asleep. I had some training today for a program that investigates TV stuff. I know, very riveting stuff, so much so that I couldn't keep my eyes open. I don't think I've ever struggled so much to stay awake! So I spent the whole hour rubbing them and I ate half a packet of Mentos to try and stay awake. The Mentos seemed to work so i don't know what ingredients are in them, but since I ate about 6 I am a bit concerned... So, it snowed today. Actually snowed all day. It actually hit the ground like rain, and just melted when it landed in the water, so there was no snow lying around. But it was falling from the sky as snow, and lots of people had little bits of ice all over their coats. Which now explains why last week was quite hot, and this week was SO cold, like a freak cold snap. Since the snow, I have justified catching the bus home all week, instead of being a hero and doing the 20 minute walk. But it was nice sitting inside and watching it fall, although occasionally I had to pretend I was actually doing something. In other news, I am just getting over my second cold in as many months. After sometimes escaping an entire year in Aus without one, I wasn't extremely impressed to be sick again 2 weeks after I got better. And I took 2 days off work last week, so I think they were very impressed with me. I have 5 days until I get my FIRST pay in the old pounds, and I can't wait so I can eat something other than pasta and beans and pumpkin. Actually, that will probably not change because I love it. But it will be nice to have money, and will be able to do more travelling now. Well, this has brought me up to 17:32, so I am actually 2 WHOLE MINUTES overdue and am going home. Thank for reading, and I PROMISE I will never write anything so boring on here again. I just wanted everyone to know I was still alive and haven't given up on this journal!
