Well. Hello. I thought I\'d try out this \'travel journal\' thing so you can just log on anytime you want. Hopefully I will update frequently..... Well, I just wrote big emails to everyone, sooooooo, don\'t really know what to write. Ummmmm, oh, exciting news of the hour! We finally worked out how to put the TV on. Alright, we haven\'t exactly been trying, but we can\'t afford a TV licence so we\'ve just been watching DVDs occasionally. But I was just sitting in the loungeroom and decided to have a play around, and it works. And we have colour...even though we have been watching movies in black and white because we thought it was broken. Apparently you just have to flick a switch for colour to come on. Ha. So now Big Brother is on, and it\'s boring. But it\'s nice to have TV because after 2 months of nothing, I have to admit I started to miss a few little shows that are just starting again, so good timing really! For everyone who doesn\'t know I got a job. In media planning and buying (what I was doing at home). The role is TV buying assistant, and it\'s pretty much entry level because my Aus experience doesn\'t count for anything over here. But it\'s what I really wanted to do, and it was the first interview I went to that I REALLY wanted the job. And I\'ll be working with a girl who I worked with at Carat in Aus, in pretty much the same roles. Weird eh? So I start on the 30th Jan. Yay, employment! Well, that\'s about it for now...I\'m not going to backtrack and write what I\'ve been doing because everyone should know already. So I\'ll write more when I have more to say. Love Beth x P.s.
