Hello everyone,
So we got up at half three this morning, then Boonmee took us to the airport at 4am, because we flew at 06.55am and airports have these ridiculous be there so many hours before rules! We were amazed all the staff at Joel and Vanas were out to wave us off, we felt rather guilty that theyd all got up!
Flight went smoothly and we got to our hotel which is nice, in a good location. Vietnam is certainly different to Thailand, much more of a change than we were expecting. Its good though, will probably just take us a couple of days to find our feet. Crossing roads is a fine art, rules of the road dont seem to apply and theres motorbikes everywhere! Never let me complain about traffic in england again!
So weve been for a walk down the lake and are going to a night market tonight, hopefully going to book our halong bay trip for tues/weds. The currency here is so confusing though, 25000 to the pound.
