Hi all,

So the promised update after the dreaded nightbus. It was certainly a weird form of transport, exactly like a normal double decker bus but with three rows of beds in it, two tiers high. We were at the back though and the back row of seats had essentially been converted into a 5 person bed, literally the width of one of us lied down. I really dont know how most people (most people being bigger than us) cope with it. It wasnt very comfy but time passed fairly quickly, and we even arrived in Nha Trang an hour and a half early. Would have been great if that didnt mean we arrived at 4.30am! So we sat in the tour office until the sun came up, then watched some very energetic flailing of arms and some rather good tai chi until it was a reasonable hour to check into our hotel.

We have had a really lazy beach day today, weather this morning wasnt great but it picked up this afternoon so we had a nice laze in the sunshine. Have booked onto a boat trip tomorrow round the islands that includes snorkelling which should be good.

Not particularly looking forward to another nightbus tomorrow night but we will cope. This one is only meant to take 6 hours as opposed to 12 so should be more manageable.
