Hello, So we have just got back from our two day trip to Halong Bay. It really did live up to expectations! Was also quite nice to be on a tour again and be told what to do etc, its a nice break from organising everything ourselves. So we had a three hour bus ride to Halong city, some nice people in the group though which was good, then got onto our boat and had nice lunch. Hello everyone, So we got up at half three this morning, then Boonmee took us to the airport at 4am, because we flew at 06.55am and airports have these ridiculous be there so many hours before rules! We were amazed all the staff at Joel and Vanas were out to wave us off, we felt rather guilty that theyd all got up! Flight went smoothly and we got to our hotel which is nice, in a good location.
