Phew had a busy few days (by my standards anyway!) I did my RSA course on Friday which you need to do in order to work in a bar... was interesting in parts but also boring in parts too... still it was a break from "I'm phoning about the job...". Didn't go out Friday night... sat there so bored so I thought sod it, will get some wine so had that with a couple of guys from the apartment. Something I have learnt in Australia: Germans rock! (But I kinda knew that already) I got quite drunk after a few glasses so had quite an early night, but on Saturday I woke up and the tonsillitis that was brewering through the week went away so who needs anti-biotics when you can have wine! Spent Saturday and Sunday shopping, job hunting etc etc. When I said I would post presents home I though ah it wont be too bad - $120! Thats like 60 quid!! Saturday night was DVD night, watched a movie about people staying in a Motel during a storm but can't remember the name, it froze near the end so I don't know how it finishes, then watched panic room and then a Korean movie (with english subtitles). Sunday night was good, went to a Korean restaurant and I have finally mastered chopsticks! I ate spicy octopus (and it was very spicy), it was nice until I got to something that looked exactly like an octopus and tasted and felt exactly like you would expect an octopus to taste. Started my new job with the agency on Monday, its data entry and really boring, but the best job yet and not as bad as I was expecting. The people are nice enough, but I've almost finished what I was taken on to do :( Finished work and was invited out - I thought about it for about three seconds! Why do I only ever arrange nights out when I got work the next day? Well, last night (Monday) was typical and reminded me of the infinite amount of times I went into Argos with a stonking hangover. Went to Steffi's first, then to Scubar which is near Central Station, was good in there and you got a transfer (but I really cant remember what it was for?). I had a vodka and lemonade but was so expensive so then I went for the snakebite - yum yum yum (and very very cheap!). Then we ended up in Sidebar at Wake Up! yet again but a brilliant night, went with Steffi and Natalia and met lots of their German friends, what a brilliant night it was. I don't remember leaving, coming home, getting in or going to bed - all I remember is waking up this morning saying "Never again". How long will it last?? Well, we got a night out at The Rocks on Thursday... Oxford St on Friday, Christmas Party on Saturday... so not very! Love to you all hope everyone is ok, don't forget the message board, or to email me would be great to know how everyone is doing! Spoke to Cheryl on Sunday, shes in Perth now was great to speak to her and cant wait to see her on December 28th... and looking forward to Christmas, probably having a meal on Christmas Eve because a couple of the guys in the apartment and then Christmas Day on Bondi Beach, how strange will that be??
