So After battling through hours of traffic we left the serenity of mui ne for the hectic crazy atmosphere of Saigon. Having only got into our room at 9pm we didn't see to much of the place but managed to book a tour and onward travel.
Today we went on a tour of some local viet cong tunnels, my earlier comments about the people being tiny was confirmed when I nearly got stuck in this tiny tunnel 3m below ground. It was amazing and it's was topped off by shooting a m16 machine gun at the end! The gun-ho nature of our morning trip soon gave way to disbelief in the afternoon as we visited a Vietnam war remembrance museum, which was very moving. It's been a fantastic thought provoking day which makes you feel lucky to live in relative peace (give or take the odd six nations game).
To make up for the cost of all the bullets I shot, Gwenno is now evening things up by sitting in a beauty salon having a pedicure!
Tomorrow we cross the border to Cambodia, having seen and covered a lot of the beautiful Vietnam. We've really enjoyed it and only wish we had more time!

Jenny Hi guys!! Sounds like you're having a brilliant time - especially in those beach huts! Everything is fine here, just make sure Gwenno rides as many Goa-esque waves as possible and stocks up on India pants xxxx
