So After battling through hours of traffic we left the serenity of mui ne for the hectic crazy atmosphere of Saigon. Having only got into our room at 9pm we didn't see to much of the place but managed to book a tour and onward travel. We have spent the past 2 days in a lovely beach bungalow in mui ne, south Vietnam. We haven't done much apart from relax and eat lots of amazing seafood, including a huge crab and the best tiger prawns we have ever had! The people are a lot friendlier here and we went out one night with the owner of the bungalow ( a welsh Aussie) to a local beach restaurant. We're back on the bone shaker bus to ho chi Minh city this afternoon.

As an ingenious way of saving money we have decided to get a few overnight buses from the north of Vietnam to the south - a good idea in principle (maybe!) the only downside is that the beds in the buses are designed to fit the tiny Vietnamese people and not us Brits! Even Gwenno towers over the locals!!!
