First full day in Prague was a beautiful one!! An absolutely beautiful day (as it seems it was all over), I had a lovely first day finding my way around this old, and truly gorgeous city. A short tram ride brought me near the river and the center of town.

Walking along the Vltava, with a view of Prague Castle, it's obvious why people rave about the city. The buildings here have character, especially coming from cities that were bombed during the war. I walked up and around Prague Castle and enjoyed the views of the city from above. I walked back down towards the river and found a great spot next to the water to lie down.. ended up taking a very nice nap!

Found my way to the Old Square, where I had a fantastic langos (this time just fried dough with garlic, ketchup, and cheese on top!), and enjoyed a performance by a New Orleans style band. A really great way to spend the afternoon! Got back to the hostel and ended up watching Home Alone in the bar while drinking some great Czech beer! Looking forward to another day in this beautiful city tomorrow!
