hi everyone!

been another packed few day! we all went to Hunter Valley on friday which is about 2 and a half hours north of sydney. The whole of the valley is absolutley stunning and so beautiful its unreal. There are milllions of vinyards and over 100 wineries in the valley. We visited four, including Lindemanns which is probably the one that most people have heard of. We tasted about 6-8 different wines in each place so you can probably imagine that we were feeling slightly intoxicated by the end of it and entertained the driver by singing the home and away theme tune to him (much to his horror!). On sunday we went to a local brewery and spent the day drinking beer (yes, i have been drinking beer...and actually a lot of snakebites!!). The weather there was absolutely unbelieveable as u can see from the pics and we have all statrted to tan! i even have a white watch mark on my wrist. but the most surprising thing is that I'M NOT A LOBBY!!!! thats factor 40 sun cream for you, its the business!!

Yesterday (monday 1st oct) was a bank holiday so the whole of sydney was absolutely packed. We took the ferry over to manly beach about half an hour away and spent most of the afternoon on the beach, after we'd spent hours looking for the rest of our group! It was prob around 29 deg at this point and was amazing!

The most exciting news I have is that we have a new flat! it was the last one in bondi so we were very lucky to get it! Its about 5 mins walk from the beach. Me and katie have vowed to take a run on bondi beach every morning (when were not hungover!) the even better news is that the rest of our bunac group have the flat directly above us so it will be parties all round! In fact we're having a house warming on friday night!! All thats left to do is find a job before i run out of dollar!!
