Ok!

First day at camp and it is AMAZING!!

Spent most of last afternoon and night sitting in the airport because we were waiting for the bus to come and pick us up and take us to camp. Overall 6 hours! But we met a whole lot of the campers while waiting and got to chat to them and they are really nice ! !!

I met an Aussie guy called Zyl from Melbourne who was quite a character played his guitar through the six hours

I have also made friends with most of the people at the camp, in particular an Aussie called Micayla, another Aussie called Kate a pom called rosie a chick from iceland called Kerrie and an Irish called Laura!

They are all nice and when talking in a group it's great to hear all the accents!

We drove to camp and arrived in the pitch black so it was hard to see what was going on. We ate and headed straight to our dorms.

They were very musty and quite dusty, it reminded me of horse camp where your never quite clean enough but Thats what camp is about right! We knocked off to sleep straight away!

In the morning after breakfast we were told it was a maintenance day so we cleaned and weeded and painted. It was baking hot , but a fantastic way to meet people and look around the camp.

The camp is amazing btw, think two massive lakes, two pools, five slides, canoes and jet skis for the lakes. A golf course, horseriding stables and millions of sports courts or all sorts of games. A gym, drama studio and theatre, high ropes course, paint ball and campsites!
So much more I can't even tell you yet!

We are learning more and more about what we get to do at camp too! Like we get to go away on heaps of trips like to the beach, the movies, bowling, a
Massive flee market and maybe even New York and Canada!!!!

Lastly I have found out what I am doing at camp too which is a bonus! I am being a video specialist which means I am going to go around filming everyone having fun and make it into videos for the website and if anyone is interested I can teach them.

The best bit? It means I have heaps of time off to do whatever I want and I have also been told I am able to choose what equipment the camp buys for me to use this summer!
