we spend a really nice day today. first we stopped at some geothermal river having a nice swim in the hot water. then wen went on the whakahoro where the Blue Duck Lodge is located. At this lodge they do sheep and cattle farming, conservation and tourism. we had a nice ride with two atvs (all terrain vehicle). here is a short video:

the ride looked boring, but later we got rain and we drove along really muddy 'streets' around the hills at the blue duck lodge. that was great fun! later we had a nice goat curry and a campfire with marshmallows afterwards. great day! ;-)
