Well the plan to turn north didn't happen. Woke up yesterday morning an decided we were so close to Mendocino. Hadn't seen it so made the trek down the coast. Gps said only hour & half but didn't take into account the 27' trailer being towed or the crazy twisty road. So 2 1/2 hrs later we arrived. Fort Bragg just down the road. Amazing coastline. Seriously. Mendocino very quaint and romantic. Lots & lots of art galleries. Neat little shops. Not so relaxing though with 2 little ones in tow! Great Lunch on a little patio. Neat little buildings. Lots of gardens. Flowers.
Found a campsite just a few min away on its own little beach. Campsite is nice but spots are on gravel, no trees, packed in. I'm sure this place is busy in summer.
Definitely heading inland & north tody. Coast is cooling off & cloudy for rest of week. Redding CA is 32 today. Off we go!
