Well the plan to turn north didn't happen. Woke up yesterday morning an decided we were so close to Mendocino. Hadn't seen it so made the trek down the coast. Gps said only hour & half but didn't take into account the 27' trailer being towed or the crazy twisty road. So 2 1/2 hrs later we arrived. Fort Bragg just down the road. Amazing coastline. Seriously. Mendocino very quaint and romantic. Lots & lots of art galleries. Neat little shops. Not so relaxi...

Leaving Mendocino and its a bit cloudy. Stopped at the coolest organic/ natural store for a few goods... It's in a historic church. So cool! Diesel, air in the tires & on the road. Taking hwy 20 from fort Bragg to I-5 and then probably up to Redding. We just all said goodbye to the coast & ocean and all of a sudden Jesse busts out from the backseat "bye bye wawa". Heheeeee!
