Yesterday was another nice day. Peggy took me to a place called indigiscapes. They had lots of different walks and gardens so we spent a while just wandering around there. Pointed out by the gardener, I saw my first ever wild snake! It was massive! But thankfully curled up in the sun and sleeping peacefully. We had a cup of tea and a bit of amazing 'indigicake' while we watched the birds. No very exciting birds unfortunately though, only a couple of magpies. The afternoon was spent packing and tidying up the caravan ready to leave.
Today we went down to Cleveland and had a cup of coffee and some scones at the lighthouse restaurant down at the shore, then went for a walk along there. Been a lovely day again so that was good. Just about to have our last tea with the Beveridges before heading into Brisbane for a night in a hostel there, then going on to the bush camp tomorrow. Forecast is storms for the next couple of days so it'll probably be just like camping at hom :) Fingers crossed it'll bide nice though. Off to eat wir steak! Definitely not going to be eating this well again for another 8 months or so, so we're making the most of it!
