Hi loyal followers! Currently writing this on the Eurostar on the way to little old PARIS!! So before our big European adventure truly kicks off here is a recap of our first three days in the uk, soon to be our future home. If we were to have adoptive parents in the uk they would be Sylvia and mike. Leaving their place earlier today made us realize how much we had latched onto what was very much a resemblance of home. Home cooked meals, having our washing done, even a morning nespresso.
Anyway Thursday was a huge day, we started with a morning workout, only mentioning this as it leads to our new found love of squirrels, making the run route go through the local forest "woods" just to watch them. Then it was a tour of the local sites with Sylvia. Well more like a tour of the young lives of Anne and tony, including the place where Tony's journey to international rubber acclaim began. We ended up in Guildford, the closest town to Woking. Here we went to the top level of "house of Frazier" with amazing views of the town for high tea. Then we finally headed into the big city to meet up with Sophie (ant's cousin), her husband mark and their beautiful one day old son Hugo! Yes one day, so we were very lucky with timing to have been one of the first people to have met the little man. Then we went back to Woking for a final home cooked roast lamb and potatoes (what's tatas precious?) and a meet and greet with Sam (Sylvia's son) and Polly.
And so, after Nat condensing 3 bags into one and finally looking like a backpacker and ant realizing we left the camera charger at home, here we are on the way to the land of champagne/croissants/crepes (take what you will), to meet up with Nat's friend Nat (not a typo) in Paris. Let the journey begin......
