I'm sick! :(
I am really sick today, its horrible! Headache, sore throat, tired, coughing and can't breath! Brilliant! This is just what I need! Taxi home for one!
We went down for breakfast at 9! Forgot to mention how good it is! It costs 10000 kip (£0.79) for two breakfasts. We get 2 eggs, sausage, salad, toast, croissant, Coffee and orange! Can't go wrong! I always ask for no sausage though and they get it wrong every single day.
I'm sick so I went to sleep for a couple of hours while Michael wrote his blogs!
Skyped mum which is always eventful! Then we decided we actually need to do something today! So armed with my inhaler we walked to check out some of the street! Stopped to eat at drop bar then carried on.
Walked to an unknown temple and it was beautiful! Michael says they all look the same though and they are getting boring. Most of them to look similar but I still like seeing them!
Then walked to the Mekong river. It was small! We thought it would be huge as come on, it's the Mekong! Oh well! It was still pretty! There was children playing in the sinking mud and adults walking along it!
Walked home and skyped Da. It was nice to speak to him but the connection was rubbish!
Then skyped Andrea, Geoff and Millie! This is turning into a Skype day! The connection was bad with them as well!
The wifi here is rubbish and they mess around with it! Turning it on late and off early! Really want to get a sim card again but I think the next place will be Vietnam as we will probably only stay in China a couple of weeks!
Went downstairs to the restaurant for a drink but the service here at the 'Mixay Paradise Guest House' is rubbish! We didn't get served! Great! We never get served! I think they must hate us!
We walked to the night market! We were the only travellers there everyone else was Asian! I like this though! They don't sell traveller bracelets anywhere here and I need one! It's the capital city as well sort it out!
Went back to this food stall restaurant down our street to eat. When I call them food stall restaurants it's like a food stall in the street, with like a concrete open room behind them and a corrugated iron roof that has plastic outdoor tables and chairs.
Restaurants like this are not meant for travellers as they don't speak English and you don't really know what your ordering. We only started going to these as our local friends in all the places we visit go! So we know what to expect and it's super cheap! Although they charge us more because we are tourists but still an extra 20p is nothing!
The woman who runs this one is super cute! I could literally take her home! When Michael sits down she is still only up to her shoulder <3
I ordered vegetable spicy rice with spring rolls. All the food was beaut! There was loads though! I had an iced coffee as well and it was bigger then my head! Mine came to 35000 (£2.50). SOLD! We will see you tomorrow!
Walked home after this as I'm still really sick :(
