First morning in Vientiane! Had such a good nights sleep! Michael wasn't here so went for breakfast alone downstairs at 9.45 as we had already paid for it! Woke up on the night sleeper bus at 6am as we were at the bus station already! Whenever we go somewhere new we never book accommodation as we don't see the point. I look in my lonely planet book half an hour before we get there and chose the street that is central and has lots of guest houses. It always works out for the best! Got up at 10 to pack and check out! Walked down the street to pool bar, sat down and waited to be served! Everything is so slow in Laos though after 15 minutes we just walked out as they were more interested in the game of pool. They must need the money in low season though? So after we got in at 5.15, an hour before our bus leaves we chilled for half an hour which we shouldn't have done. At half 5 we packed then realised we didn't have enough money to check out! Crap. Transferred money and with 15 minutes till our bus we speed walked all the way the the riverside (it takes 15 minutes to walk there)!
