I know I keep saying 'pictures to follow' but it seems like I can barely add what happens day-to-day, so for now, they might follow...eventually.

• picked up snazzy rental car, a wee silver Yaris with Texas licence plates (y'all)
• popped into Denver, ate Thai food, went to art supply store and some shops
• drove up the mountain a while to see the canyon and area (see epic picture of me+rocks), also Emily loved all the trees and plants and Annie found a cactus. Fun times.
• explored Boulder-shared some tacos (with lots of cilantro....never enough for Annie), then we shopped, strolled and smiled a bit (a lot).
• wrote this lame blog entry
• went to bed (much needed)

Tomorrow is Rocky Mountain National Park day. Can't wait. zzzz
