This will be short since Em and I are currently half-asleep and ready for bed, but I uploaded a bunch of photos from today to tell our stories.

We had a great day, helped Melanie prepare a set of prints for a print exchange going to Australia and sat and began working on some of our own work. Looking forward to making some awesome things while we are here. (Melanie's studio is so awesome!)

After lunch we went on an excursion to a huge flea market/antique store and browsed it for a couple hours, each of us finding awesome stuff. We stumbled on a little garage sale also that was full of cool stuff also. Then we drove around and Melanie showed us the area including Highland cows, llamas, chickens, old cars, easter-egg coloured houses and some boutiques.

Had a nice dinner and watched the sunset while playing scrabble and pigging out on cookies and candy. Typical.

Em and I have just been preparing for our first official artist talk at the university tomorrow for Melanie's class. We are nervous but excited , pictures to follow.
