Back in denver staying at doubletree hilton. Very fancy schmancy and they upgraded us to a mountain view room because they said we were nice. Too bad we are leaving tomorrow . :( went to the denver botanic gardens and it was lovely! ( plus free admission today, we lucked out) now off for lunch and exploring denver a bit. What a trip!

Ignore the cupcake it is the default image on my ipod library. Ems and i are hitting the hay before our flight home tomorrow morning. We saw a special yves saint-laurent retrospective at the denver art museum it was so cool. Also we went to neiman marcus and pretended we could afford it. I found a nice ceramic plate for 500 dollars but sadly all my riches couldnt afford it.... We thought about buying a helicopter fron the catalogue too. Instead we left that craz...

Since I had to catch up after having no internet access in Gallup, NM, I decided to only post photos for what we've done. Check out the photo blog entries #1-4 under albums to see what we've been up to. Phew. Time for bed. Now we are in Santa Fe, so more to come.

Hikedaround bear lake on giant mounds of snow, yes, snow. Saw wild elk and drove up to probably 9,000 fee...

I know I keep saying 'pictures to follow' but it seems like I can barely add what happens day-to-day, so for now, they might follow...eventually. picked up snazzy rental car, a wee silver Yaris with Texas licence plates (y'all) popped into Denver, ate Thai food, went to art supply store and some shops drove up the mountain a while to see the canyon and area (see epic picture of me+rocks), also Emily loved all the trees and plants and Annie found a cactus. ...
