This is the view from our Beach Shack! It's 07:00 a.m and I'm out on the balcony watching the locals play cricket- a national obsession! Joggers are out in force, an outrigger fishing boat has just sailed off and I can see a couple in the sea doing water aerobics. It's been a busy week of ministry with Healing on the Beach am followed by healing meetings in the afternoon and into the evening. God's love has been poured out onto many. My heart goes out to the beach water sport guys who as immigrants are treated poorly, are badly paid and forced to work long hours. Every chap that came for prayer had shoulder and back pain from the grueling work of hauling parachutes and boats but they were all healed!
So our hosts decided to bless us with a night away at Palolem Beach, it's wonderful. An enclave for adventurers- bohemian types, backpackers and families alike. It's no wonder as our beach shack is just £15 a night, it is right on the beach and it even has air con and hot water. I had trouble sleeping as the waves were so loud! It's truly a little bit of paradise. I can see Jon's sandals and tee shirt discarded on the sand, he is either running barefoot on the sand or swimming in the balmy waters. We've really needed this break, we are just a team of two!
Andrew and Lavanya have a heart for Israeli Jews and have a dream to set up a Guest House right here to connect with them; I think we will definitely be visiting them again. They are wonderful people and have treated us like royalty!
We are off to New Delhi at 05:30 tomorrow to connect with Justine and her friend, I think it will be in sharp constant to this little slice of heaven!
