We had an amazing time in Nagaland as met so many different people groups and made lifetime friends.
Justine and Jon taught Supernatural treasure hunting and prophetic evangelism to a large group of teens at the Help International School. It was fun in the afternoon to hit the streets to have love encounters with people. My group took me across the railroad tracks (yes I clambered down and across like everyone else feeling like a criminal) to the railway slum area where people live outside and in the railway cars. I've never seen such poverty, many of the children had yellow hair from a deficiency of minerals. Their clothes were rags, I prayed for several very sick babies with high fevers, their bellies bloated but they were eating candy! Most of the women there are Bangladesh immigrants. We could have stayed for hours with all the need there was but we left with my local girl interpreter singing a song with actions which the kids and adults loved. Indians love to dance and sing, which was good to remember as a sweet spot.
The local youth pastor is doing 7 days of worship with the kids every night, it was lovely to see their passion. We were all introduced as a Bethel team ( such an honour) with the intention of praying for the kids. As soon as we walked among them the girls started weeping uncontrollably and just about the whole crowd got blasted by the Holy Spirit falling like flies, it was so much fun!
We are off to catch the 2:20 am train next to Siligiri where we will meet with some Wiwam people and then head off to Darjeeling for a few days. We've heard it's cool up there, I can't wait!
