We took another journey to some more ruins outside of Lima. They are considered just as important as Machu Picchu. Pretty impressive to see, and you only see a fraction of what is there. There have been large amount of school groups everywhere we have gone. All of them have been gawking at Makenna, "nina"! The last group we saw took about two dozen pictures of her. Friday in Lima... we walked to some pretty incredible ruins that are in the middle of the Miraflores district. They have been excavating them for about 30 years now. The problem is that at one time it was private property, so they plowed through 3 blocks worth of ruins and built right over them. We arrived! After a delay last night getting in to Peru, we found our taxi driver waiting for us in a crowd of about 100 taxi drivers (no joke).
