Just about over jet lag now! Yesterday was a beautiful day - the weather said it was only 20C but it felt more like 30, lovin it and have caught the sun already which I am pleased about!!
We went walking around Frankston today for bout 2 hours - its such a nice town and lots of things to see - the main attraction for me is of course the long baech at Phillip Bay. Its so gorgeous, the sea has so many colors in it n is lovely n clear, the beach is perfect and unspoilt, just left to be as it is (no shops or arcades along the front) and the views u get are amazing, i could have stayed there all day. Its only 15mins from Pauls house and u can pretty much see the sea from his front door. From the beach u can see Melbourne city on the other side of the day and all other towns around it too. Flies were getting a bit annoying yesterday - but ive bought my cork hat with me just in case it all gets too much!! Today we went to the Botanical Gardens which were lovely with parrots just flying round and squawking lots, so colourful!
Tomorrow we are heading to the coastal towan of Mornington (for those at Carl F that is where Brian's son from Villas Brass lives who Brain gave me the muber for!) and is supposed to be even nicer than Frankston!
Sunday we are heading into Melbourne City for my first glimpse of the real backpacking way - cant wait! I know there are going to be so many things to see, I'm probably gunna spend a couple of weeks staying in Melbourne after next week before I start my Oz Experience tour to get me used to the backpacking life! Hoping to get booked up to start my tour for end of Nov so Im in Sydney for Dec!
Thanks for ur messages on the board, nice to hear from you and keep in touch!
Ang xx
