hey,greetings from vietnam.
well where do i start really, vietnam has been one of the most interesting places we have been to so far,one day you want to smile the next you want to cry.The first place we stayed was Chau Doc which was nice,as soon as we got there we got straight on a boat round the mekong river where we seen all the little huts on water and the familys,we even got given a piece of watermelon from some random person which was yummy, after that we took a motorbike ride up the mountain to watch the sun set in a hamuk with a cold drink its was one of the best things we have done on this trip so far really enjoyed it.Next place was Ho Chi Minh City, which had one of the busiest roads to cross to the market, women at the market grabbing you telling you to by and over all crazy lol.We spent one day at the viet kong tunnels which was the hide out in the vietnam war and fired a M16 gun,i dont think ill be doing that again anytime soon but glad we did it it was an experience. That night we met 5 new oz people that joined the group, very nice people we got on great. We got our first over night train to Nha Trang, there were a few bugs so i must have put everything on in my backpack to lare myself up lol but it was fun.We spent one day at the beach all you could eat and drink so you can imagen we went out that night ,cheap buckets and bye one get one free cocktails, great night but not when we spent the next day at the mud baths one bloke was sick lol.next place was Hoi An which was picturess,it was beautiful,it was completly different to what we had seen in the last places, it was quite no mad traffic and very oldy worldy, lovely!!altho we hired i motorbike out, i was really surprised i did so well but andy started to get a bit to confident showing off and crashed up a curb and into a wall.Luckily he didnt hurt him self to bad but the bloke wasnt to pleased when we returned it,had to pay 200000dong for the damage, wasnt to expensive could have been worse.we spent a few day here, went to the beach where i got sun burnt and to a really nice coffee shop.i cant forget the argument i had over tigarbalm with a local mad women at the top of a mountain, she gave me the wrong change i was going mad becuase she wouldnt give it to me so i grabbed my money back, later i realised it was 5p lol...oupes.we have also been to Hue where we got a motorbike throgh the country, and had dinner with a dumb and deff family where i fell in love with the children they were so sweat.we took a flight to Hanoi because are train was cancelled due to floods.what can i say about hanoi it is mental, absolutly crazy i cant even explain it, its nothing iv even seen before bout got killed 20 by tuk tuks or motorbikes, people everywhere.so went out and got drunk that night lol.last of all is Halong Bay which we loved,we got a fancy boat to the islands, the inside of the mountain was incredable beautiful views at the top.The meal on the boat was really nice aswell it was all seafood really tasty.Halong Bay was a good place to end vietnam.its been very busy and full on but we got to see alot of different things.so thats it for now bye x x
