hello everyone,danni here...
we have now done cambodia and i have to say we have had an amazing time here, seen both bad and good thing.I will start off with siem reap where we spent one day going to all the temples including Ta Prohm which i just remember as where tomb raider was filmed, then Ta kar which we had to climb to the top,iv never been so scared the stairs were so steep and slippy because it had been raining.Then we went to Angkor Thom with all the faces, last of all was Angkor Wot which i thought was the best it was a really good day.That evening we had dinner at a charity working school were the children cooked us dinner which was really nice apart from the roasted grasshoper for starter lol,plus the crazy tuk tuk ride their in the rain were i thought i was going to die...
next place is Phnom Penh which i wasnt to keen on,it was very busy and alot of beggers mainly children which i didnt like.plus we went to S.21 which was a school turned into a detention center,only 30years ago they killed 3million,it was horrible there was blood stains on the floor and photos and skulls,really really upseting.after that we went to the killing fields so by the end of the day we felt pretty crap.But it is one of those things you dont want to see but u kind of have to to understand the gravity of it.
The last place in cambodia was Sihonoukville where we took the bumpest bus ride to get there lol...but it was so nice there.we went to Ream national park where we took a treak through the jungle to a beach and had a bbq then went to Kbal Chhay Waterfall,it was beautiful although andy slipped over and lost his flip flop which was quite funny cus we went to a monkey park after and andy only had one flip flop on lol but we got to feed them they had cute baby ones.we also took a boat trip and had the most painfull massage i dont think it is natural to click that much...anyway that is cambodia for you and we loved it ....time to go speak soon byeeee x x
