Hi

So, am back in Saigon for a day or two before we head back to Cambodge! Phuquoc has been amazing... especially because we had a really nice crowd of people:

A complete gay legend called Wayne who kept us entertained with frankly unbelievable stories, although I have no doubt that he was telling the truth everytime! One (tame) example was when he came home to find his neighbours cat in his house but he had to go to the toilet before he booted it into the garden ... so sensibly he attached the cat to the chain on his wallet and stood on his wallet whilst he went to the toilet. Surprise, surprise, the cat bolted and before he knew it his wallet was 3 gardens down. He only stopped chasing the cat when suspicious neighbours called the police!

He had so so so many more entertaining stories and dirty jokes to keep us entertained on our deserted island.

We also met up with a lovely couple called Carol and Gordon, who had been married for 35 years and seeing each other for 8 years before that, since they were 11!!!! They warmed the cockles, I tell you!

And finally, Dutchy and the Irish... what a pair! When he was tired Roy aka Dutchy would make certain lingual mistakes e.g. calling an earring a earbell, clubs became tents and yawns were moonies! Ha ha ha... hours of entertainment!

The day snorkelling and swimming was amazing... if a little painful as I don't think anyone managed to get away without a coral/ sea urchin/ barnacle injury! Nothing that couldn't be cured with a squeeze of lime, ooooowweeeeeeeeeeeeee!
