The jungle is a dream come true.... I can't even say how amazing it is to go down the Sekonyer river on a klotok in the middle of a tropical rainstorm.... with a packet (or I should say half a packet) of chocolate creams in your hands, hiding under a giant khaki green poncho!!!!

On out first day we saw an unbidden 6 wild orangutans during our trip to Camp Leaky. Amazing.... and whilst there I've seen loads because all the ex-captives hang around camp. They are HUGE and have a taste for soap!!! So when you are taking a mandi in the river or trying to wash clothes you have to keep your eyes pealed for them otherwise they will be lathering up their arm with your soap before you know it!!!!

Tomorrow I head out to our real work site to start building.... should be fun so long as I can avoid the leeches! Cant wait.
