Well not a great deal to write home about today. It's been raining all day!! We only ventured out today to get some bits in for dinner. We've trying to plan where we're heading to next and for how long so we can get hostels booked and transport sorted.
Our next stop is going to be Whistler which is only 2hr 30mins from Vancouver. What I'm not looking forward to is the coach from Whistler to Banff which is 19hrs 30mins!!!!!!!! It's 630 miles away and yet the distance when you look on a map looks so small. It's quite daunting knowing we have to make our way across the whole of Canada!
My throat feels a bit better today- I've had lemsips and strepsils so touch wood it'll be fine.
We plan to head to Gastown tomorrow which is where Vancouver began. The New York Times says it's "Vancouver's most dynamic neighbourhood".
