hey everyone, sorry about the lack of contact but its been all go here and internet was expensive for a while.

Our trek in chaing mai was an experience! We met up at 9 on thurs morning and were taken to an elephant ranch. We then went on an hour elephant ride which was really really good. They seemed to like amy as she got slobbered on quite a lot! We then had some lunch and went on a 3 hour walk. I thought i was going to collapse with all the uphill and heat!! Or maybe it was just because im so unfit!

We stopped off at a waterfall to have a swim and then carried on walking up to a hill tribe village. We stayed here in a hut overnight. The locals cooked us some dinner and the group (8 of us) sat around the fire talking in the evening. I didnt get much sleep as it was absolutely freezing and the dogs were barking all night! But it was all good fun. The next day we walked for the morning, had lunch and then went bamboo rafting down the river. \this was hilarious and we all managed to fall over when we were stearing the raft down the little rapids!!

After this we were taken back to chaing mai where we had time for a quick shower before our overnight bus to bangkok. We arrived in bangkok at 5.15 am and had to wait around until 10 for the travel agents to open so we could store our bags. We just spent the day wandering around and me and amy rewarded ourselves with a foot massage, which was lovely, but ever since my legs and ankles have really swelled up!

We then got another overnight bus and a ferry to Koh Samui. We spent 2 nights here and thats all we needed. It was a very pretty place but was spoiled by being very touristy. We had a relaxing day, with foot scrubs and pedicures!! and went out in the evening. On the second night we had a nice quiet evening on the beach. We left koh samui this morning to go to another island, koh tao. This island is beautiful!! There is little here but thats what is nice about it. \we are staying here for 5 nights so rich can do his advanced diving course, while me and amy spend some chill out time on the beach! I'll be doing a fun dive later in the week and ames will prob be doing a try dive at some point.

So we're here until monday, which is when we go over to koh pahgnan for the full moon party, and is where me and amy are booked into really really nice accom so should be good.

Hope this has kept everyone updates, there prob wont be much to report for this wk as it will be time to top uo the tan!!
