hi all, since becky last wrote we have been very busy!!we spent 5 nights on the island of koh tao, we really loved it there. it was a vey chilled ou place but just what we needed to relax and recover from our hectic few weeks! w didnt see rich much for the first days as he was doing his advance diving course which he successfully passed! we stayed in the dive resort as we had a friend of my uncle that works there. he was a really nice bloke and helped us out with the accomm and some advise about places in the island. also on the last night we went to a 'signing off' of two of the divemasters which basically meant they were dressed up, then got half naked and did lots of silly challenges and drank lots of shots - a very entertaining night! we also had an entertaining night when we went to a ladyboy show called queens!! very funny and they tried to get rich up on the stage but he wasnt having any of it!!we also went on a boat trip around the isalnd and did some snorkelling! there were shark sightings! but as im a wimp and stayed quite close to the boat i didnt get to see any! we did see some lovely fish tho. we also went down to the south of the island to shark bay which was recommended as the islands prettiest beach - and it certainly was!! a highlight for koh tao for me was when we had baracuda from a restaurant on the beach - very nice!! we were very sad to leave koh tao, but after a short ferry ride arrived in the party island of koh phangan! our hotel is luxury and we have been making the most of the facilities - hot water and a pool on the beach! we are in a perfect location for the full moon party on haad rin beach! we went to the pre full moon party on monday night and we had never seen anything like it! we were there til the early hours! the next day me and becks went for a massage which was very relaxing but we couldnt help laughing at some of the positions they put us in!! we then heading down to the full moon party last night - WOW!! i have never seen so many people dancing in one place, literally thousands of people dancing all night long on the beach!! we got some neon accessories and body paint (i had a welsh dragon!) and drank a few buckets!! we danced until the sun came up, watched a beautiful sunrise and when we left at 7 am there were still hundreds of people dancing away - crazy!!! such a good night!we plan to stay in koh pahangan for a few more nights and have a few boat and snorkelling trips booked, so we are looking forward to that! saturday we are leaving for krabi, so we will both be in touch shortly!!!speak to you all soon, lots of love xx
