We had breakfast in the guesthouse and found out that Robin had broken her shoulder and was going to have to fly home to Brisbane as she may need surgery. Around lunchtime we headed into the main centre to check out Lake Baikal and the markets. We got dropped off at a restaurant on the main road and went in for lunch.
There were a lot of people in the main centre as it was Russian Orthodox Christmas day so there were lots of activities in the main centre. We wondered down the main road and saw lots of people braving the icy water of Lake Baikal. Apparently if you swim in Lake Baikal it adds years to your life. We came across the markets and wondered around looking at all the stalls. We even tried some of the local dishes. After spending a day wondering around the main centre of Listvyanka we headed back to the hotel as the group was going to go into the Banya.
Whilst the group was in the Banya, Robin and I were sitting in the lounge room chatting to a Austrian man, who was travelling with a friend of his. After the Banya we sat down and had dinner followed by a few vodkas. After a few too many vodkas Lois started getting stuck into everyone about their snoring and kept trying to tell me that I snore, which all the group backed me up and said no she doesn't. Not wanting to continue arguing with her I got up and walked away from the table and went up to my room and went to sleep.
