Lois and I went for breakfast at the dumpling place again as they were soooo good! Then we went for a coffee at SPR Coffee, which I needed as I couldn't sleep last night due to the jack hammer that was in my room, being Lois. We went to meet the group back at the hotel, for our visit to Tianmen Square and the Forbidden City. It was very cold today so we were all wrapped up in many layers. Our local guide Kevin told us about these two places. We spent quite a bit of time here, which was nice and by the end of it we were all starved, so our local guide took us to lunch at a local restaurant. Where the food was really good.
After lunch myself, Pam and Lois took the subway back to get some stuff for our train journey tomorrow to Ulaanbaatar and then I went back for a nap, as I was tired from not getting in sleep the night before. That night I went for a walk on my own as Lois was already starting to annoy me and I needed some time away. Lois was from Tasmania and she worked as a maths teacher. I found her some what patronising. When having conversations with her she would answer you with grunts as like she wasn't really listening to you. I thought I was just being stupid but I soon found out that I wasn't the only one that felt this way. Phew!
