Today we woke up and went to see Gaudi's unfinished masterpiece; the Cathedral. It is supposed to be done within the next 20 years, but I find it unlikely that it will happen. It was actually very sterile looking, and while the style was reminiscent to that of Gaudi, it was in my opinion, a poor imitation, and the others agreed with me. Never the less, we took the lift to the very top to have a look, and then took the 500 or so stairs down back to the bottom. Someone should be fired for their part in the design of those stairwells, as they were so narrow, that two people could barely pass each other. After seeing the Cathedral, Aileen and I went to the Textile Museum, which was fun to pass some time in. We met up with Tasheel to have a final lunch of tapas, before they made their way back to London. We said our goodbyes outside the metro station, and I think I will be seeing them again, either in London or Greece later on in the year. I spent the rest of the afternoon tidying my locker, and replying to whatever was accumulated in my inbox. It took about two hours for me to type out my journal entries, and it hadn't seen an update in a couple of weeks. Tomorrow I am going to go on the Barcelona bus tour, and then on Thursday I will go up to the monastery on the top of the mountain. For the times in between, I bought the 3rd Harry Potter in Spanish, as well as a Cosmo to keep me busy.
