Today was a very quiet day. I have found as the week passes on, I get far less adventureous with my endeavors. I took the tube to see Notredame, which was very interesting, but I must say that my loyalty still lies with St. Paul´s Cathedral. Once again, the entry was free, but the place was packed. One thing I have not come to understand about the tourists here however, is the fact that during the holidays, perfectly intelligent people seem to turn into complete morons. It will say everywhere that there are no photographs permitted, accompanied by pictures in about 10 different languages, but they will still insist on incessantly snapping their Nikons, even during a service! Although I couldn´t understand a single word of it, I still found it to be very calming to sit through, similar to the walk in the cemetary that I took earlier in the day. In the Latin Quarter, which I visited after, I picket up a bracelet, and was told by the owner that there was a fabric shop on the other end of town. Sadly, all I foundwere creepy prostitutes and their respective pimps. Needless to say, I got out of there fast.
