I've just finished my undergraduate degree at Keele University in the UK, and didn't fancy getting a proper job just yet..... so my girlfriend and I thought Australia for 6 months or so? why not........ so we sorted out visas, insurance etc and here we are, we've been living in Sydney since October 12th. After finally settling in and beating off the jetlag we moved into a modest studio flat relatively near the city centre. I'm now attempting to balance my desire to see all the sites…

I'm now attempting to balance my desire to see all the sites and enjoy the sunshine, with attempting to find a job that I can strand, not that I badly want to work, but Sydney is expensive, oh so expensive. Apologese if this becomes a leitmotif in my future blogging, I will do my utmost to ensure that Australia keeps the fun filled reputation it currently holds, and so far from what i've seen, completely deserves.

Alex, you are a genius and write so well and you know what, you are right. Rest assured I have never recruited salesmen like that. The best salesmen I have employed are honest hard working communicators with a real desire to succeed. The job probably would have driven you mad. Their loss!
