Been travelling since 8 this morning from Šibenik to Perković, where we waited for 45 minutes for our connection to Zagreb. In Zagreb now refuelling. Get into Budapest after 10 this evening

Leaving Zagreb for Split on a cooler train. Our hostel last night was excellent in the foyer and common room areas, and the bedroom was, in theory, the nicest we have stayed in - very clean and better-than-Ikea bunk beds. 4th country in 1 day. Arrived into Zagreb on a steaming hot train. We had our passports checked twice at the border, first time we've needed them, except to get on the bus to Austria. We won't see much of Zagreb as we're only staying 1 night. The area around the train station looks a bit like a war zone with the worst graffiti we have seen so far.
