We went to Budapest Zoo today for a couple of hours. Got our money's worth, as it was quite cheap and it was much bigger than we expected. We arrived into Budapest at around 22:30. Short metro ride and walk to hostel, from where we were taken to our apartment with another couple. The picture makes it look nice. Long day in Budapest. We spent it with our flatmates, Nick and Mel from America. First we went to the Terror House Museum, where the Arrow Cross Party was based during the war, and in the 50s it was a Soviet HQ. It was an interrogation centre, and there were displays of torture instruments, gallows and reconstructed cells, as well as Soviet espionage equipment, Military uniforms and several TVs with first-hand accounts of the atrocities.
