We arrived into Budapest at around 22:30. Short metro ride and walk to hostel, from where we were taken to our apartment with another couple. The picture makes it look nice.

Well...there's no wifi, the tv doesn't work, the shower head is broken, the shower rail fell off the wall and worst of all, the air conditioning doesn't work. It was like sleeping in an oven. Not even a fan in our room. We'll see what we can do about this.

Today, among other things, we're going to the Museum of Terror, a house that was the HQ for the Hungarian Nazis in the war. Sounds grim.
