This morning we arrived in Heathrow half an hour early at 6:50 am. After the 12hr flight we were quite unenergised. The plane we took for some reason had no TV's, which sucked, but we slept most of the time anyway.
We took a train direct to Paddington Station and then took a train to Kings Cross. We had to go to St Pancras national, which is right next to Kings Cross to get a train on the Corby line to Wellingborough. That took a nice 55min through rolling country side and villages of houses tightly put together. It was a nice change from the dry brown country we're use to, but it did cost 92 pounds for the 2 of us to get there, plus 42 from the airport.
The weather is nice and I can hear birds chirping outside (this is trudy btw). It was so nice to have had a shower after that long trip through Thailand and all the way up here.
Verity, David, and Barnaby are really nice, they seem to have lots of stories to tell us, which we did for most of the afternoon. They have what you would expect a typical little English house would be, small and cosy, and right between a row of houses, that all look the same.
Raunds (the place we are staying) isn't very big, just a little village town, which is kinda nice.
We had massive steaks for dinner, which was good, and took a quick stroll through the town...we saw a hedgehog, the cathedral and stuff.
Thats about it for now..GOODNIGHT
