Hey everyone! this is our last full day in Koh Samui as we leave tomorrow for Singapore! Since the last entry we haven done loads just recovering and relaxing! Yesterday we hired a Jeep and i drove us to another beach called Big Buddha where here is a temple and statue, and we also went to Bophut beach just to have a look around! The driving is very easy here as it is on our side of the road and i have to say driving a Jeep is much easier than my car at home, you can see more and i can reach the pedals a lot easier! On the night i decided to detox so drove Alex and i to Chaweng to have dinner and watch the Midlsbrough v Man U match which started here at half past midnight! i have to say we were very unlucky and deserved the win! Alex got quite drunk and was shouing when Boro got the first goal back and the bar was full of people supporting Manu, not very surprisingly though non of those people were actually from manchester! we were getting some glares as you all know what Alex is like during a football game and whenever we made a tackl he was shouting 'get stuck in Cattermole son' etc etc, so i wanted to make a sharp exit as soon as the match was over. Alex broke his flip flop so had to walk back to the car with one shoe as it was a bit of a trek but got home safe and sound with no fights with football fans! we are going to watch the celtic rangers game tonight but Alex isnt drinking, and we have given the jeep back today so we will have to get a taxi! We will be very sorry to leave Thailand as we have had an amazing time but then we will be looking forward to no eating curry and rice (im dying for a good pizza) and also w would like to have a toilet that flushes, we have ben denied that sice entering Thailand! Also the taxi and tuk tuks are starting to annoy us as they just constantly beep their horns at us as though they have never sen a tourist! But the people at our bungalow are very nice, we tried to teach a German man how to play Jacks twos and eights, nd the Thai women are very frienly and beautiful! we also will miss our guard dogs which protect us from strangers coming to the resort off the beach! they are so cute and friendly. Also on the pictures you will see a dog which we have named rug beacause he really does look lik a rug and he is lovely too! we feel very sorry for the dogs here, we have seen locals throw rocks at them and spray paint them :(! y the way i am NOT sunburnt on the photos it is beacause it is boiling here! i havent even been in the sun it is sooo hot so i have no tan, not that i would get one anyway! hope everyone is doing well! miss you all! xxxxx
