Hey everyone!After the last journal entry and 24 hours of solid travelling alex and i decided to full moon it up in Koh phangnan (dont know how to spell it) which is an island directly above Koh Samui but takes about 2 hours to get there! we quickly had tea and then went straight to our bungalow to get ready for the big noght out! i was so tired after not sleeping on the night train but alex wasnt too bad as he had slept really well! We got picked up by a minibus at about 9:30 and they took us to the north of Koh Samui to catch a speed boat! When we got there there was a pre beach party where everyone had already started on the buckets but we just drank some beer! we were all given tags to show the speedboat company we were travelling with which meant that we could only get that speed boat back! when the next boat came me and alex rushed on boat we had to wade through the sea first and i didnt want to get my clothes wet so a Thai guy grabbed me and lifted me on board and gave us all some life jackets (safety always comes first here you know lol)! on the speed boat me and alex just kept looking at eachother thinking what we were doing was so surreal! we arrived at Koh Phangnan and walked straight to the beach where there were thousands of ravers and the music was blasting and all the way along the beach there were bucket stalls and tattoo artists and people lighting fire works! the atmosphere was so amazing everyone was just having a great time! we met up with matt lambert (most of you will know from uni) and then we started on the buckets! we chose one with a whole bottle of whiskey, coke and red bull ( the red bull here contains amphetimines!) and we began to party the night away forgetting how tired we were! we had a good time dancing in a drum and bass bar where we met a guy from gurnsey who thought i was called sally! then alex and i decided to get some body paint on our arms! at first we wanted england flags across our foreheads but didnt know how well it would go down, so i got some hearts, and alex got a snake! we have some really good photos which we will put up later! we met a very drunk australian guy who was trying o make me eat loads of disgusting meat off a food stall but i declined! Alex dropped my drink on another girl and her boyfriend called him an english hooligan so alex said he wasnt english he was scottish. we wrote our names in the sand and a thai girl recognised me from bangkok so i was talking her for a bit! the place was full of people from all over th world just having a good time and at about 5am we decided to get the boat back as people were too far gone being sick and going to the toilet in the sea! it ended up being a bit minging actually! when we got to the ferry port there was hundreds of people waiting and our company said they were only doing hourly pick ups, so after missing the 5am one we were a bit worried thinking we were gonna be stranded as there were already people waiting for the next one! wyhilst waiting we met the most drunken swedish guy who couldnt stand up and was about 70 and trying to give us life lessons! the speed boat actually came back about 20mins later so me and alex ushed to the front but the water was so deep i was too small to get on so alex lifted me on to the bonnet (i dont know if there are bonnets on boats but you know what i mean) and the driver kept saying no one can come on yet we have to queue and i was laid on the top going 'im getting on this boat!' and just rolled on side and ran to a seat next to the sterring wheel! alex appeared moments later with only onw flip flop and we were totally panicking because everyone was so drunk we thought they were going to be sick all over the boat! on the way back the sea ahead was pitch black and we were going unbelievably fast that people at the very front were almost going over board! it was one of those things that you look back on sober thinking, that could have been quite dangerous really! not for us as i made sure we got a seat right next to the driver but we felt sorry for some people near the edge who were screaming the whole way back! AMAZING NIGHT!!!!!

Anyway the next day we just relaxed on the beach and really didnt do a lot! We are staying at Lamai beach so on the third night decided to go to Chaweng where it is busier and we had a reall nice meal at a posh restaurant which was still only about a fiver each including a starter and all of our drinks! then we went for a walk where we encountered many lady boys and also there are some really nice fake victoria beckham jeans which i am tempted to get! we found a big square of clubs and bars which was really good but we noticed that there were only men inside and the only women were thai! last night we met up with matt again and headed to chaweng for a night out, matt ate a lobster! we went to a bar where we got extremely drunk and people were actually laughing at us as matt nearly knocked the table over! when we left the bar we stumbled upon a girl with a connect four game who said that if we beat her she would give us 100 baht and vice versa! drunkenly we thought we could beat her but i swear she is professional at connect 4! matt lost straightaway and was shouting that she knew all the tricks! so we ran after her and i had a go and she beat me too! but she gave me a flower necklace as a consolation prize! alex also proceeded to arm wrestle an 8yr old thai boy and then we lost matt as he wen tto a bank to get some money out! we found him later but he didnt know where he had been so drunkenly we all just got a van back to lamai, then trekked toa macdonalds which was shut so just went home! i started to feel really ill when we got back and had to have a bucket next to my bed but i was fine and wasnt ill! we havent heard from matt today! anyway that is what we have been up to so far, we have loads of class photos but we will put them up at the end of our trip! the beach is paradise and the scenery is beautiful! there are no cats mum, we saw one in chaweng but other than that none! i think there are so many dogs that they scare them away! bu even the dogs arent in the restaurants or bars! anyway hope everyone is doing well and enjoying our journal! dont forget to write on the message board! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
