I've been in Bangkok for 24 hours now and I have to say that I'm already comfortable getting around in the city. The weather and the pollution really doesn't seen that bad but maybe it's just because it's the weekend. Quite frankly, the weather was more hot and humid in Dallas when I left.

The hotel we are staying at is the trendiest hotel I have ever stayed at, even more than the one I stayed at in Beverly Hills! It has a huge spa, a pool with a beautiful bar, interesting building materials and fantastic interior design. I haven't tried anything out though because we've been out on the town all day. We explored the HUGE shopping malls by our hotel, visited two temples, went to a gem/jewelry factory, researched Pizza Hut and went to the Suan Lum Night Bazzar. I would load my pictures but I really want to go to bed.

p.s. There is so much good fruit here. I can only find guavas at Whole Foods for around $5 a piece and they have them everywhere here for way less!
