Hello friends! Today and yesterday has been a lot of Spring cleaning. Maybe I am a bit of a dork but man do I like organizing and labeling stuff. I organized all my backpacking gear into totes and got it all put away. Cleaned up the room and all that good stuff too. Been thinking about life after this summer and the great thing about this kayak job is that it gives me time to focus on job hunting and looking into career paths. I have two regions in mind which are specifically Elgin IL and Fayetteville AR.
Elgin is great and that's where Jaclyn will be so of course I'm looking heavily there, but I also miss the beauty and weather of the south. I know the ole battle axe will at least consider AR and what's not to love about North West AR? We talked some about Florida too but so far nothin has really been found there opportunity wise. To be fair I have not looked nearly as much in Florida. So anyways that is that and time is rolling on. The world rolls on steadily and I continue to learn its little lessons.
I have such a desire to learn and can't wait to gain steady employment so I can end the feeling of restlessness for a bit. Would like to enroll in college again and pursue an advance degree. It's hard to know what to choose when your the kid who wanted to be everything when he grew up. I look forward to days where I can go backpacking for a weekend and then come back home and work on the garden and find a good church. Maybe I can talk Jaclyn into taking cooking classes, I'm gonna have to if I plan to live very long. Thank God she is pretty because she sure can't cook. She is my angel and one of Gods finest creations despite her lack of culinary expertise. Love you dear.
