Well it's me again, "Sporty Kathy" as the Norwegians call me these days. We're back in Tromso and getting ready for our flight to Oslo tomorrow morning. Today we just pranced around town and shopped a little bit. The most eventful thing that happened was...well maybe I shouldn't reveal it all here...but let's just say it involved Erica, a dragon-sized seagull, and some very bad timing. In this brief area of internet reception, let me just let you know that we are on our way to Manskarvika for a few days in a lavvu (tee pee like lappish tent). Last night we stayed in cabins in Jergull, which is in the middle of nowhere, and we jumped into the marajoka river (around 12 degrees celsius) before hitting the sauna. Tomorrow we will go to the Nordkapp, the northernmost point in continental Europe.....be on the look out for some awesome pictures! Oh,...

In order to make the blogs less nerdy, I, Katherine, decided to take the wheel this time. Last night, we fell gracefully into a reindeer-induced sleep, but most of us kept waking up since it looked light the WHOLE night....turns out that "The Land of the Midnight Sun" is actually true..who knew?! Breaking news......five of our seven pieces of luggage have been found and are at the house, to bad for Katherine and Trent......hopefully theirs will be here tomorrow. Today, we took a mini tour of Tromso; we visited the Arctic museum and walked all along the harbor. When we returned from downtown, Trine made yet another delicious meal.
