Pariwana Hostel
What a great hostel. Soooo clean, the cleaners are always cleaning. They have good showers and tonnes of bathrooms. We always chose a 6bed dorm with private bathroom. I think they are the best dorms, quiet and chilled. We had to sleep in an 8 bed dorm for a night and not only was it full of stinky hairy men, but it was also right on the street where you could hear honking all night. Not good!
They've got a wicked terrace with table tennis (now a personal fav), a bar, pool and beanbags. It's a great place to chill.
The staff are generally really helpful and nice... Generally. There were some bad staff that just didn't care about anyone. But there were also a lot of good staff, it was just annoying when they weren't on. We got some washing done, mainly Sams clothes because he brought mostly dirty clothes haha. We only had 2 shopping bags to put them in which meant they got washed separately. The cost was S7/kg and we ended up paying S21/kg each for a small shopping bag. Never again! What a con.
All in all I would recommend this hostel and I know when we're back in lima we'll be staying here again. Hopefully Roul will be working because he's so nice and really goes out of his way to help. Just don't use the washing facilities!!! Use the sink in your bathroom.
