Back in Lima for 1 night only. Quite a lot of action when we first got there, which was a bad beginning for our return. Lucky the staff were nice and we got on with the rest if our stay ok.
I met a nice Australian girl in our hostel room called Mearon, from Brisbane. She had lost her luggage on her flight to Lima and was spending the whole day trying to get it back.
We left Sam in the hostel room and went for a walk and shop. She needed a change of clothes and some undies. It was nice to hang out with her, we could laugh about Australian things. We actually had a lot in common. We all went to bed early and she left in the morning.
Sam and I hung around the hostel for the whole next day. We ventured out and bought a screwdriver with the help of a lovely (very slow walking) man on the street.
This picture is of the sunset on the night we left. Before catching an overnight bus (Cruz Del Sur) to Trujillo.
We sat in the VIP, which felt like business class on a plane (not quite)
