It was pretty exciting when we eventually arrived in Australia though we thought we'd landed in the wrong country! It was really cold, and it only got colder as time went by! Melody and Alice met us at the airport, it was great to see them again, and great to be picked up as well, the first pick up to actually be there for us!! For the first few nights we stayed at Alice's house (thanks to Tim and Judy for letting us stay and looking after us so well!) ...

The main thing that happened in Singapore was...we got ill!! Oh and it rained...every day!! Phil got ill and was in bed for a few days and then I got ill and was in bed for a few days, all while Singapore was being hit by a Monsoon!! It wasn't too nice for poor Phil because we were staying in a 16 bed dorm, which isn't the best place to be when you are ill. The dorm looked like a prison, it had a concrete floor and all the beds were lined up perfectly, ...

Bali didn't start off too well, we had a pick up arranged at the airport, and surprise surprise, it wasn't there, I've lost count of how many times this has happened to us since we've been away! So we were really annoyed but it turned out to be really easy to get a taxi and Kuta was only 5-10 minutes from the airport so it wasn't too bad. Also, once we got there they brought us a welcome drink and our hotel was really nice so we soon forgot ...

Haven't got too much to report on Kuala Lumpur, we just had a quick stop here on the way to Bali. It was pretty eventful getting here mind, as it always has been throughout Asia. One thing we have learned being in Asia is never to believe anything you are told and don't have expectations, just go with the flow and see what happens! So, on leaving Phi Phi we were expecting to catch the boat to Krabi and then we would get a bus from Krabi to Kuala Lumpur......

Phi Phi Island...we have so much to say about this place, we loved it!!!! We were originally going to stay for one week but loved it so much we decided to stay for two! We arrived after another long journey (bit of a theme going!) and really annoyed because we got ripped off by the woman who sold us the ferry ticket and put onto a different ferry to the one we wanted.
