We hadn't disappeared, but just been enjoying the relaxation of NZ and its winter weather!! We were supposed to only be staying in NZ for a 2 week tour in our spaceship 'campercar' but decided to spend 3 so we could spend some time with Emma's reli's and recover from South America!!!! So we finally moved on from Bolivia, which on reflection is an incredible country.....even the bus trip back to civilisation wasn't without its Bolivian charm....having nearly run over several animals, tuc tuc style car/bikes and a few of the locals we arrived at the border to get our stamps and mandatory currency fleecing....meanwhile the bus had already broken down but the short walk over to PERU was just enough time to get it fixed!! Then onward to PUNO!!!

Well having left La Paz we have now arrived on the shores of Lake Titicaca. The trip was, as usual, an exciting one....the road to Copacabana is pretty good for a change but there is a little section where you need to get off the bus to make your way across the straights between big and little caca!!! to the peninsula where Copacabana lies.....the photos will be uploaded soon so keep an eye out for a boat the same size as a coach and a quite exciting cross curren...

La Paz nuts place, To be honest there is nothing prepares you for arriving in La Paz, its a crazy place of colour, noise, great people and bad smells! Well Welcome to Bolivia!...........we managed to make it, you´ll have to forgive the lack of updates for the past few days but we have been in the wilderness on a 4 day tour of one of the best landscapes in the world..(pictures will follow when we find a internet cafe we trust!!).
